The aim of a person’s professional development is gradual awareness one’s own personality, and life activity its planning perfection, readiness to analyse oneself find personally significant meaning in particular that defines forms person's identity. In today's world, the key successful strong self-identity. As reflection makes human actions more meaningful, raises suggests changes attitudes, behaviours, individual contexts throughout life, this study reveal how Latvian teachers, working different educational institutions with several years pedagogical experience, understand essence teacher’s identity by analysing their past, present future teaching practices. experience research participants – 80 Master’s students Liepaja University, programme General Education Teacher, are summarized applying thematic analysis method, which allows determine factors influencing identity, sources weaknesses, ways for overcoming obstacles, specificity questions deal teachers’ self-reflection, self-perception as educators, activities shape results describe teachers' reflections on activities, revealing perfection dimensions, such social responsibility, attitude change, search alternative solutions, assessment progress, others.
